<aside> 🎯 The short answer: Reddit allows people to have multiple accounts. That does not make coordinated account behavior safe. The right agency model is one client-controlled identity per client, one named human operator, transparent commercial intent where relevant, and no voting or coordinated participation across accounts.

This is the Clearbox operating guide for an agency, consultancy, or in-house team managing more than one Reddit presence. It separates Reddit's documented rules from public anecdotes and from the stricter controls Clearbox uses to protect clients.

Read the labels correctly

• FACT: directly supported by Reddit, the FTC, OpenAI, or Google documentation.
• OBSERVED: a public practitioner or moderator report. Useful evidence, not a platform rule or a proven cause.
• CLEARBOX RULE: our operating standard. It is intentionally stricter than the minimum Reddit documents.
• CLEARBOX PRODUCT FACT: behavior verified in the current Clearbox product. It is not a claim about Reddit or a promise about a future product version.
• FICTION: a confident claim that the available evidence does not support.
• UNPROVEN: plausible, but not established well enough to promise to a client.

The architecture: account, workspace, operator

Do not collapse these into one thing.

• Reddit account: the public identity that speaks and accumulates history.
• Clearbox workspace: the private client boundary containing that client's rooms, keywords, competitors, opportunities, approvals, and reporting.
• Human operator: the named person authorized to review and publish from the account.

The standard agency shape is:

1. One Clearbox workspace per client.
2. One client-controlled Reddit account for the company's public participation, unless the client is deliberately using a named employee's established personal account.
